My name is Michael A. Kenney, founder of Kenney Protective Agency. I bring over 38 years of experience in professional law enforcement and private security. My wife, Deserée, is also a key part of our leadership team, with more than 15 years of experience working in community corrections, supervising adult offenders and parolees, as well as in the private investigative and security industries.

As a New Jersey State Police Certified S.O.R.A. Instructor, I’m passionate about training individuals entering the security field or renewing their certification. Education, preparedness, and professionalism are core to what we do.

At Kenney Protective Agency, we’re a client-focused company. That means we only take on what we can handle — ensuring every client receives the attention and service they deserve. In fact, you may see either me or Deserée personally working in the field. We believe staying directly involved helps us maintain the highest standards and stay in touch with what’s happening on the ground.
