PERSONAL SAFETY?
Some things are getting better; but not enough.
The good news is, according to the FBI, overall violent crime in New Jersey has gone down 27 percent in the last 10 years! The bad news is that rapes have gone up, assaults have stayed the same, and there were still over 20 thousand victims of violent crime in 2018.
Attackers rarely just attack- they choose their victims carefully. They look for traits in a person that identifies them as someone they can overpower and/or trick. We can teach you how to NOT be THE ONE that is marked by one of these predators as their next victim.

Our personal safety classes provide each person with the skills they need to avoid dangerous situations and what to do if caught in one. These classes are specialized to target each group's specific concerns. Scroll down to read more about classes for
Adults and College Students
We are certified SABRE Personal Safety Academy Instructors, and in our Civilian Safety Awareness Program (CSAP) and College Safety Program (CSA), you will learn to avoid a violent attack by identifying a criminal's tricks, tactics, and methods of approach and how to deter them. We will teach you basic self-defense maneuvers that won't take you years to learn. In addition, the CSAP course comes with a New Jersey legal SABRE 3-in-1 Defense Spray, in which you will learn the best ways to use the #1 defense (pepper) spray used by police and civilians worldwide.
We customize this program to cover the specific needs of Nurses and Realtors!
Why SABRE? In addition to being the #1 spray, SABRE also donates to RAINN (Rape, Abuse & Incest National Network) each time someone takes a Personal Safety Academy Class. They will also donate a portion of the proceeds of select products to the National Breast Cancer Foundation (NBCF) .

Minnie Goes to College
Teens
Our teen years can be the most fun and the most dangerous. And, despite what they may have been taught, they often take significant risks and make decisions based solely on intense emotions.
Our Teen Safety class focuses on the specific concerns faced by our teens today and is presented with a more interactive approach instead of a straight lecture. The class maintains the theme to "Be Your Own Protector" and is divided into 4 areas: Situational Awareness, Simple Self-Defense Techniques, Human Trafficking, and Violence in Teen Dating.
The material is suitable for ages 14-18, however, parents/guardians are free to include younger students at their discretion. Class runs from 90 minutes to 2 hours but can be customized to suit peculiar concerns and time constraints.
Sabre's College Safety Program is also suitable for seniors getting ready to attend college. This class addresses a range of scenarios most students will encounter regularly, both on and off-campus and runs and about 90 minutes to 2 hours. Students learn:
- Situational Awareness/How to be Prepared & Engaged in Emergencies,

Basic Self-Defense,

How to Use Pepper Gel & Personal Alarms (no pepper spray is included in the kit unlike the adult program), and

Sexual Assault Risk Reduction.
For every College Safety Program, Sabre donates to RAINN (the Rape, Abuse & Incest National Network).
Seniors
Seniors today are more independent than ever! Unfortunately, many criminals still see them as the most vulnerable group and, therefore, the best targets.
We teach seniors how to be more aware of their surroundings, how to tell the difference between someone who is being friendly and who is being suspicious, and how to let an attacker know that they are not going to be a good victim. Should a senior find themselves in a dangerous situation, they will be able to exercise the skills they learned in class and properly deploy their secret weapon - pepper spray!
It takes very little physical skill for a senior to build confidence and learn to protect themselves! We are here to turn seniors from being a potential "mark" to being unmistakably mighty!
